Wamba is a small town located in Samburu east constituency, it is the administrative headquarter for the sub-county, and it is known for the famous Mathew ranges. Wamba has four wards including Waso bordering Isiolo and Marsabit counties, Wamba north bordering Samburu north constituency, Wamba west bordering Samburu west constituency and areas around Samburu national reserve, and Wamba east which is areas around Wamba township.

Wamba is also home to namunyak conservancy which is home to the famous Reteti elephant sanctuary, Sarara camp, and the Mathew ranges

Wamba offers a beautiful scene even from the skylines

Animals found in Namunyak conservancy are elephants, Herd of antelopes, hyenas, oryx, giraffes, gravy zebras, ostrich, monkeys, the greater kudu

This is one of the towns that have rich landscapes and environment, and it is the least explored, due to its remote location. Wamba is ideal for:
